The most amusing part was that it turned out this fake lawyer's law office, as listed in Martindale-Hubbel, was a Mailboxes Etc. box. So clearly M-H doesn't do any checking either. I wonder if there would be a market for a book called "Who's Really Who" -- a biographical dictionary where all the entries had been checked out.
