The actual, regionally-accredited Southern Vermont College closed in 2019, and now we have......this.

    https://southernvermontcollege.org/

    Most of their "accreditors" have dead links to their websites, except for this gem;

    https://www.rcfaai.org/

They list every college, trade, and technical school in Massachusetts (including Harvard, MIT, Boston University, and Boston College) as "accredited".

Why do I have the feeling that all these schools have absolutely no idea that they've received such an honor? o_O

They have so many bogus accredited agencies, some of them are located in the Middle East.

Checked Whois - no good info - private - no names etc. fully cloaked. This is an amateur job. Main screen has a "watermark" - an ad left in from the web software used to create it. (Probably a free / trial version.)

Among the accreditations, there is a bogus claim of HLC accreditation - that THIS incarnation of SVC certainly does not have. Looks like fraudsters in an Eastern country are trying to attract (mainly) their own people to be victims of their "fine American University."

Website is full of stock photos and fictitious people.

Does anyone know of this in Canada:

“Southern Vermont College is located in the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta.”

    is this a tribal area?

No. Land acknowledgements have become fashionable in higher education, this is just an attempt to look like a real institution by including a fake one.

Karachi, more likely, as the Gulf Higher Education Council, the United States Higher Learning Commission, the United States Education Commission, the Ministry of Higher Education Commission, the United States Board for Education Standardization and the Regional Council for Accreditation of American Institution are all Axact inventions.

Good to know. Axact is always busy, (re) inventing (old) new American colleges. This appears to be the second one I've seen in as many days. Mr. Shoaib Shaikh seems to be doing as well as ever for himself, these days. Pretty clear that he owns Pakistan - at least the judicial system - lock, stock and barrel.

As the late Rod Bernard (pioneer of Louisiana "swamp-pop") sang:

    "This should go on, forever
    Till the end of time.."

No, Axact shouldn't. But it likely will.

    Rod Bernard here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rod_Bernard
    Shoaib Shaikh here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoaib_Ahmed_Shaikh

    I like Rod. Not Shoaib.

There's also https://southernvermontcollege.us. Basically the same as https://coloradoheights.us and https://urbanauniversity.us

RCFAAI comes with a fairly typical fake Axact database. Real schools are mixed with fake ones, if you select California, there's Adamsville University, Al Khalifa American University, Ashley University, Ashwood University, Bakerville University, Barkley University, Brooksville University, California Center University. And so on.
