Right. But I thought it was cool - especially the group name. Wasn't the original headline shown in "Airplane" - 1980, starring Leslie Nielsen?

Leslie Nielsen was very funny -- but his (real-life) brother, Erik Nielsen, was quite serious. As a member of Parliament, he had to be. He was named Deputy Prime Minister of Canada from 1984-1986, by the late Rt. Hon. Brian Mulroney, who died on Feb. 29th, 2024. Then-Prime Minister Mulroney also made the Hon. Mr. Nielsen President of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada, from 1984-85.

The late Hon. Erik Hersholt Nielsen served as MP for the Yukon for over 30 years. He won 11 straight Federal elections and also served as Minister of Defence from 1985-86. Mr. Nielsen died in 2008.
