More trouble for Steve B. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/steve-bannon-appeals-conviction-in-jan-6-committee-contempt-case Latest on the money laundering case: https://www.cnn.com/2023/05/25/politics/steve-bannon-trial-date/index.html
Right. The person who could pardon him if she chose, would be the Governor of the same state - NY. That's Kathy Hochul, a Democrat. Interestingly, the State's cases against Trump and Bannon will both be tried (in separate trials, of course) before the same judge, Juan Merchan.
Yes - sloppy enough to get caught. Steve B. - sloppy? Who'd have thought that? Does this man look sloppy to you? Yeah. I thought so, too. https://twitter.com/mradamtaylor/status/868187005456437248
I just hear about it for a first time and read the allegations, accusations. Is this SCOTUS bound, SB supporters claim he can't get a fair trial in NYS, NYC?
Because Bannon will define a "fair trial" as one in which he will be found not guilty of all charges.
