A friendly reminder that if you want to adjunct this semester - it doesn't hurt to send credentials again a week before the fall semester starts. We have a few openings (none online) and my dean is so busy, that if a resume crosses the desk now, one has a good shot.

I'm sure it is this way at other schools.

Okay. We're getting a little closer. So what does the "LCO" stand for?

Ah, LCO in Hayward, WI...home of the alt-Country band Molly and the Heymakers!

It's a Wisconsin thing. You probably wouldn't know the band if you have never lived in the Badger State.

Do you mean for online positions, or on campus positions?

We have filled (I think) our adjunct positions for this semester. Most schools are looking for adjuncts, and often times the decision on who to hire isn't made until the last minute.

So here is my advice...if you are looking to adjunct anywhere, it does not hurt to submit your resume/vita to the academic dean (or whoever makes the hiring decision) two weeks before the term starts.
