Seems to be a curious grant, that the University of Providence is actually facilitating the online courses on behalf of SKC. Granted, with the size of SKC and the size of the grant, this may be a far better method to leverage and expedite the benefits. Regardless, this looks like a great win for health education throughout rural Montana.
There are Salish (Coast Salish) and Kootenai people in Canada, too. Coast Salish along the Pacific coast of British Columbia and Kootenai in the Rockies. American Salish and Kootenai belong to the Flathead nation, I believe.
