Are you implying that IBC can operate as a University outside Caymans.

Okie dokie, VB, I'll respond to what you said (not that others haven't). You said:

"My academic credentials, while not "Ivy League", would still suffice (along with my requisite list of stellar professional accomplishments) to gain me entrance into most all other MBA programs. [Edinburgh School of Business in Edinburgh, Scotland (UK)] was my previous choice before locating Rushmore.)"

If your credentials are so darn good, why would you settle for an unaccredited outfit? People with good credentials don't do that.

You tried to justify this choice on some sort of theoretical basis about stuff being combined into one "persona". You mean the guy that is, I mean runs, Rushmore?

You claim stellar professional accomplishments. How do these exempt you from the normal demands of MBA programs in so remarkable a way that only Rushmore can dovetail with those accomplishments?

Your post's conclusion "let the bashing begin" raises further questions. Were you trying to incite criticism of Rushmore in order to enjoy a kind of lonely righteousness deriving from an unorthodox choice? If so, you might wish to show that this particular unorthodox choice is genuinely cutting-edge and not, to put it bluntly, dull and unserviceable. If not, what was your motive for such a statement? If you already knew what would be said, why ask?

If I understand correctly an IBC is an "International Business Corporation". Typically, an IBC will lose its tax exempt status if it provides services within the country of registry (in this case the Cayman Islands). This is related to the definition of IBC and is not necessarily a question of the type of service provided.

For instance, a transportation company incorporated under the laws of Antigua can be (largely) tax exempt as long as they don't start transporting goods between St. John's and English Harbour (ie domestically within Antigua).

No, it can't. "IBC" is just a type of incorporation.
