It's easy to have any "opinions" or "analysis" when you're just making things up. I could make a YT video tomorrow that Lerner is a bank robber, but that doesn't make it true. Not even if I were to get a retired police detective to offer their "expert opinion" that Lerner's posts indicate deviancy, kleptomania, and a desire to rob banks.

All I know is that Russia spends a lot of time and effort, in general, trying to influence the populations in the west. I don't know for a fact that is what is happening with those two videos but the sources don't seem at all reliable to me. I just dismissed them as nonsense. Ukraine is kicking Russian butt, at least as well as a David can kick a Goliath butt.

Yep. Information and Propaganda Special Operations (weaponized lying) was always a Soviet specialty. General Mihai Pachepa, the highest-ranking intelligence officer to defect from Ceausescu's Romania, wrote that the Communist Bloc had more people working in desinformation than in the armed forces. He recalls his agency delivering, on KGB's behalf, thousands of Arabic translations if the Protocols of the Elders of Zion to Palestine. If KGB could have people like Oliver Stone do their bidding (whether unwittingly or otherwise), I bet khuylo can do the same with a few tetired Colonels (or businessmen turned Reality TV stars, for that matter).

So what you are saying is that there are fake? The people we are seeing and their analysis is fake? They didn't say those things or they are employed by Russians?
Agree that anyone our day can make a YT video and publish their opinion be it based on reality or not.
There are many sources to get the info from, but I also encounter people who I know that hold different opinion rooted for some on what happened to their loved ones during WW2.

Stalin's phrase for such people was "useful idiots." They're still useful to what Stanislav called the current "Kremlin Klan," in another thread. In fact, I believe it was he who quoted Stalin's phrase, in his comments. I think this may be what we're dealing with, here.

This guy wasn't a Colonel. He was a defecting Russian soldier that was in the unit that committed all the war crimes in Bucha. The source media is far more trustworthy though.

    quote:
‘There are maniacs who enjoy killing,’ Russian defector says of his former unit accused of war crimes in Bucha
    ...
“I didn’t see murders but I saw rapists running away, being chased (by higher-ranking members of the unit) because they committed rape,” he said.

He also said that the unit had a “direct command to murder” anyone sharing information about the unit’s positions, whether military or civilians.

“If someone had a phone – we were allowed to shoot them,” he said. He claims there is little doubt some of the men in the 64th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade were capable of killing unarmed civilians.
    ...
Having seen the fighting first hand, he said the equipment Russian soldiers have is no match for the weapons to which Ukraine has access. He says that while Ukraine is receiving some of the most advanced weaponry available from its Western allies, the Russian army is relying on Soviet-era equipment used during the war in Afghanistan in the 1980s.

“Of course Russia will lose. Because the whole world is supporting Ukraine. To think that they (the Russians) will win is stupid,” he said. “They thought they would occupy Kyiv in three days. What day is it now [of the war]? 260th? They thought they would come to Ukraine and be met with flowers. But they were told to f*** off and thrown Molotov cocktails at.”
