I would say it is a good opportunity. If you have the time and money go for it. In the scheme of things I am not sure it matters that much. "Generally" from what I have seen a degree that was earned while a school was in the accreditation process is treated like an accredited degree. It would be weird not to since schools that are accredited have to go through an accreditation process and that means someone earns degrees during it so it can be accredited.

That is different than a school that goes through the process and does not make (e.g. Trinity).

    Yes, I definitely would!

With only 6 courses at an absolute bargain price, I'd jump at the chance to add another accredited graduate degree to my resume.

    Cheers on your achievement.

There should always a registration number somewhere in the diploma to verify with the university. Back here in my country, they usually wants a photocopy, but provide true copy when needed. For other countries, in europe or else where, usually a a certified true copy from a lawyer is sufficient for photocopy version. I do believed an evaluation report from UK NARIC and ECE should be sufficient as they check very strictly, requiring the mailing of transcripts from the university.

For better or worse none of those things are standard in the U.S.

A registration number on the diploma would probably cause an employer in the U.S. to think the diploma was fake just because it is so far off of what we do here.

Of course, U.S. attorneys, to my knowledge, do not provide certified true copies of anything and even if they did no employer would be likely to care.

Pretty interesting how these norms differ from country to country.

Sure, why not, especially if it adds to your knowledge base. Can't beat the price. I wonder though if they will give you the pricing structure you had back then or the new one now? Either way, it's very affordable.

I don't know how many times I was required to submit a copy of my degree. My son was asked to submit a copy of his diploma to admissions. I made sure when I sent my degrees to be made into a plaque to hang on the wall I made some good copies so when a copy of my degree was requested it wasn't going to be difficult.

Went to CCU in person to get my degree and they had a graduation ceremony and a small brunch with the staff! An advantage of living close to Santa Ana CA.

    Congrats, b4cz28!
