    Dear Student,

I am proud to announce that University of the People is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission.

WASC is one of the regional accrediting bodies that evaluate and approve universities and colleges, ensuring these meet high academic and administrative standards. In the United States, regional accreditation is considered the most highly valued form of accreditation. As a WASC-accredited institution, UoPeople is evaluated according to the same high standards as world-renowned universities, including Stanford and UC Berkeley.

This milestone, together with our national accreditation from the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), reflects UoPeople’s commitment to providing high-quality, affordable, and accessible online education to students from around the world.

This accreditation means the degree you are earning today will now be even more widely recognized and accepted than ever before.

I wanted to take this opportunity to share the exciting news with you and to wish you the best of luck as you continue your studies with us. I also invite you to mark this occasion by sharing UoPeople with someone you know so they, too, can experience the life-changing impact of higher education.

I am incredibly proud of the UoPeople community and I am so excited to see what new heights we will reach together.

    Sincerely,

    Transfer Credits
Have credits from another accredited university? Great! Bachelor degree students can transfer up to 75% of their total credits to UoPeople. There is no charge for transfer credit evaluations, and if accepted there is a small fee of only $17 for each course transferred.

Does anyone know their policy about ACE-evaluated credit?
