I forgot about Lester B. Pearson and you are correct.

One of the things I like about Parliamentary democracy is that the Prime Minister cannot take off and hide like our Presidents. They must answer their fellow parliamentarians in the house's question and answer period.

Yea, but the opposition can be so rude and impolite during these sessions.

Here is a ranking of Prime Ministers from the last 50 years:

    http://www.irpp.org/po/archive/jun03/schwanen.pdf

    Pearson
    Mulroney
    Trudeau
    St Laurent
    Chretien
    Dief

I guess Campbell/Clark/Turner didn't rate because of short stays in office.

List of Austrian chancellors (prime ministers).

Arthur Seyss-Inquart convicted by the Nuremburg Tribunal and executed October 16, 1946. He was the antisemite who decimated the Jewish population in the Netherlands and starved to death thousands of Dutch. May he rest in hell.

Thanks, I had no idea who these men were.

Let's make this easy, Batista or Castro ? Talk about a choice between the lesser of two evils!

    Good things about Bush

1.------ (Can’t think of even one)

    Bad things about Bush

1.Created largest divide in my lifetime. Either people love the man, or hate him.
2.Uses his religion on his sleeve, almost in contempt to others who don’t share these beliefs (Ron Reagan Jr’s eulogy sounded like he was referring directly to GW)
3.Has done nothing to stop outsourcing to third world countries. Has even gone so far to meet with the Indian ambassador to almost encourage it.
    4.No net job increase.
    5.Government is bigger and bigger
6.Turned the good will of the world after 9/11 to a “how can we hate you more and why contest” even with our closest allies.
7.“You are either with us or against us” attitude. If someone were to say that to me, I would tell him or her to fuck off.
8.Deficit and national debt is bigger and bigger.
9.No accountability among this staff. (Or in Dubya’s words, I support Rummy even though he screwed up in Iraq and knew about the prisoner abuse)
10.Managed to give power to narrow minded ideologues like Ashcroft, Rummy and Cheney.
11.Will not admit the fact that he skirted his duty in Vietnam by using Prescott Bush’s influence to get a cushy job in the National Guard. Has still failed to fully disclose his shady military past.
12.Will not come clean about his past. Lets face it; GW was a rich punk who didn’t really have to excel at anything. (And didn’t). He used drugs, was a drunk and was a known womanizer. Come on Pres, if you were truly as righteous as you imply, you would just admit your past transgressions and move one (quite having your gang of advisors cover for you)
13.Two words: Chick hawk. Explain to Cheney and Ashcroft about the glass house theory when it comes to criticizing Kerry and Clinton’s military background.
14.Mislead the American public and Congress about WMD and the reasons for war in Iraq.
15.I can go on and one. Lets fact it, Dubya will never receive the good tidings that RR received when he meets his maker. You can bank on that.

For those who think I hate Dubya, you are the same people who gave Clinton 8 years of rhetoric and gave rise to the demagogues at the Faux News Network (Murdock, hardly an unbiased source of anything). I don’t hate GW; I just hate GW’s contempt for the constitution.

This is the most unfortunate part of his term, IMHO. I liked Bush's presidency until he did that. He may be shallow minded and not the sharpest tool in the box but for the most part he selected excellent people to report to him and get the real work done. His apparent obsession to get Sadam is unforgiveable in a leader. It sure appears to me that he went after Sadam for personal reasons rather than what was best for the country. The people of the middle east hate America even more now. This can only assist the terrorists and make us and our interests even more vulnerable to their hateful tactics.

First, congratulations and good luck on your MBA program

Second, we finally agree on something. Ashcroft has to the be second worst Attorney General in history. The worst was Ramsey Clark.

The best, in my opinion was Bobby Kennedy.
