I've long been a critic of Trinity C&S, but more for their ethics than for their academics. I agree with you that there does seem to be real education taking place and that apparently there's some intellectual life there. How this stacks up to an accredited school I don't know. Personally, I consider it equivalent to a decent CA-approved school.

I did a very quick Google search. A more serious search would need multiple runs with lots of different search terms and peering deeply into the results.

What I noticed is that there is a lot of noise surrounding Trinity. Lots of the resume and college-guide hits. Lots of hits on non-scholarly church websites.

    Some interesting items I found:

Cheryl Kayahara-Bass of TC&S delivered a paper: "Thought, Belief and Deception as Acts of Volition in St. Augustine's Philosophy of Mind" at the 36'th International Congress of Medieval Studies held at Western Michigan University, May 6, 2001.

Ms. Kayahara-Bass delivered "St. Augustine and the Moral Culpability of Science" at the 37'th Congress.

Here's an international summer school that TC&S sponsors in Strasbourg France (notice that Liverpool's name is on it as a sponsor as well): the 'Sixth Annual European Summer Study Session of the International Academy of Apologetics, Evangelism & Human Rights'. John Montgomery's fingerprints are all over this thing, with regard to style, substance and location. It's clearly his baby.

    Bill,

    Isn't this an oxymoron? ;)

No. Oxymorons are students at LA's Occidental College. (They really do call themselves that.)

Since Oxy is a "top tier" RA liberal arts college, that would make students at CA-approved schools oxy-sub-morons.

Just kidding, Bill. I do believe that CA has some decent state-approved schools.
