I was amazed. They're talking about DL SURCHARGES! Fees on top of fees! I think DL should cost less. Less for the school to deliver and less tuition per student. About 22 years ago, the University where I was taking night classes sent around a survey. Would I want to take DL classes, if offered? I replied yes - provided they cost HALF what B&M classes cost. Obviously, they declined. Since then, the College I'm sitting in right now has converted many former night (for credit) courses completely to DL. Same price as a B&M course. I think they have to do better.
Online courses save the schools in the need for physical plant and that leaves employees. Reducing the number of employees will be fought hard.
