The DOJ is looking into “whether Columbia’s handling of earlier instances violated civil rights laws that included terrorism crimes,” Blanche said in an address to department employees ahead of President Donald Trump’s scheduled speech Friday afternoon. “This is long overdue.”

“Let me be clear: Hamas is a terrorist organization. It has the blood of American citizens on his hands,” Blanche added. “Any person engaging in the material support of terrorism will be prosecuted. This includes those who threaten acts of violence on behalf of Hamas in the United States or even pay Hamas in the United States.”

It's good that the Trump administration is
fighting the anti-Israel protests on US
    campuses.
As we've said all along -this is not freedom of
    expression, these are violent demonstrations
    and support for terrorism!

Except that's not what they're doing. They are cutting funds from universities and expanding their power to kick people out of the country - things they want to do anyway. But then they CLAIM that it's to "fight anti-Semitism", to help Jews - tricking you'all into sharing the blame for their actions, or even taking the blame outright. They can count to the absolute dumbest Jews to cheer them on - and therefore consent to take the blame. That's what you did - played right into their hands and in the process fed the most primitive anti-Semitic stereotypes. Good thing I know that the victims of the "world's best" Soviet education on the proverbial Brighton Beach are not representative of the Jewish nation.

As usual, I strongly disagree with your perspective.
I’m sure you’ve seen the violent, pro-Palestinian protests over the past 16+ months. These protests have disrupted studies at universities, libraries and harassed Jewish and Israeli students on campuses. The so-called “Intifada” protests are not only misguided but are also promoting terrorism and should be stopped. The instigators are essentially tools of Hamas and radical jihadist ideologies.

Last portion of face the nation addressed the issue.

    Doesn't matter.
Look: they cut 400 mil from Columbua "because of pro-Palestinian protests". They also cut, like, twice that sum from John Hopkins. About 2000 people lost jobs, vital biomedical research is in shambles. Ergo: grant cutting at Columbia has nothing to do with protests. Saying it does just makes it looks like Jews are to blame for setting back search for a cure for brain cancer, among other things. And you are the one adamantly pushing this exact narrative -playing into the hands of literal Nazi (anti-Semitic) administration. Very dumb.

For Qatar is a small change..
    Columbia will get it's money.
Columbia faled to protect it Jewish students, and not only Columbia. Many western campuses became infested with Hamas ideology manipulated crowds.

You are making a mistake of supposing that "protecting Jews" is the goal, and cuts to higher education is means. False. Cutting higher education is the goal. "Protecting Jews" is pretext. Specifically, a false pretext. Pushing it helps the administration avoid responsibility, with a (for them) nice bonus of promoting Jew hate. And you play right into their hands, stupidly.
In the same vein, right now at the Department of Education, they cut 50% staff while making "fighting anti-Semitism" a priority of the Office of Civil Rights. So when parents can't get justice for their disabled child whose services are denied can't get justice, it's supposedly because "the Office is too busy helping Jewish students at the expense of sick kids". Do you REALLY want this to be the narrative?

What happened on the campuses in the last 16+ months must stop and shouldn't happened in the first place. It's not just about protecting Jews, this is where you're getting it wrong.
It's actually protecting campuses from vandals and take-overs influenced by social media and terrorists who wish ill to US and the West.
Based on your logic, Jews on campuses should not be protected? So a disabled student get services? How about both, how about college admins do their job? Then there wouldn't be a need to allocate funds for all this? Your logic is upside down.
If you think it's being used for other agenda, your speculation is noted.
But there are other speculations that beat yours.
If university admins took action with law enforcement early as they should, this wouldn't be happening. What was and going on is huge falure of colleges. Expelling vandlas and college occupiers would have served as deterence.
Its not the Jews who are to blame, you missed it, its the terrorist supporters, Jihadis to blame.

General Sir John McColl, KCB, CBE,DSO, KStJ
    after visiting Israel/Gaza:
"Basing my views about the Israel-Hamas war
on UK media coverage, I arrived in lsrael
critical and sceptical of their military
operations. I came away from the trip
satisfied that the IDF's operations and rules of engagement were rigorous compared to the British Army and our western allies."
This is by far one of the most senior military leaders to have visited the Israel Hamas conflict.
In contrast of the kind of disgusting damadamag BB_News and a likes, Al Jazeera done with their Anti-lsrael
    propoganda.

Thousands of Palestinians demonstrated against Hamas in northern Gaza on Tuesday, in what appeared to be the largest protest against the militant group since its attacks on Israel on October 7, 2023.

Video obtained by CNN showed large crowds marching through the streets of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, chanting “For god’s sake, Hamas out,” “Hamas terrorists” and “We want an end to the war.”

A message shared on social media appeared to call for nine anti-Hamas demonstrations across Gaza on Wednesday, with the protest organizers saying, “our voices must reach all the spies who sold our blood.”
