This school states it is tuition-free. Delaware-registered, no CHEA or USDoE - recognized accreditation I could find. Contact on site registration docs is Andrew Cole. Most of students quoted appear to be overseas.

Offers degrees in practically everything. 32 Doctoral programs alone, most of them PhDs!

    Might/might not be a coincidence:

IICSE stands for International Institute for Christian School Educators, an organization that appears to have some connection with the Lowrie Center for Christian School Education at Columbia International University, an RA school in South Carolina. I have no clue whether or not this is the IICSE the school is named for. IICSE U. claims membership with the Association for Colleges and Universities Worldwide in Dayton Ohio. Could not find a site for this org.

Site is www-dot-iicseuniversity-dot-org School is new to me - but site established years ago. Registration updated in 2016.

    But is the university legit?

C'mon, Nikos! It appears to have no recognized accreditation - but it also says the school charges no tuition, so I guess the main thing that could be at risk is your personal information.
IICSE Worldwide, the parent organization, is based in Abuja, Nigeria... not that I'm saying that makes any difference - just explains why so many of this Delaware company's student testimonials etc. are overseas.

If you're considering one of these degrees for employment or further (accredited) study - I'd say it won't likely get you where you want to go.

IICSE Worldwide says it was founded by the LDBC. I have no idea what the LDBC is. Here are the acronyms I found - and I'll bet the LDBC that founded IICSE isn't among them.

    LDBC Liberty DataBase Connectivity
LDBC Lake Delaware Boys' Camp (Delhi, NY)
LDBC London Diamond Bourse & Club
    LDBC Laser Diode Bias Current
LDBC Lie Down and Be Counted (research project; New Mexico)
    LDBC Lafayette Duplicate Bridge Club

I'm gonna look up "Lie Down and Be Counted," though. Might be interesting. It also means "Least Developed Beneficiary Country" - but that doesn't make any sense in this context either.

Close, Steve! It's the Living Destiny Bible Church, run from a suite in the lovely Dummec Plaza Business Centre, Area 1 Shopping Complex in Garki, Abuja, Nigeria by some Yoruba guy, or guys. IICSE is there too, as is Springsfield University, allegedly in the UK. If you need rice, cell phones or medicine, all you need to do is to go to an adjacent suite.

IICSE and Springsfield are accredited by the Association of Universities and Colleges (AUC) Worldwide, with an address in Dayton, Ohio.

For a minute there, I thought maybe the late Dr. Maxine Asher's WAUC had re-surfaced. (World Association of Universities and Colleges) but it was never in Dayton, so...

The Springsfield U. website was obviously made from the same template as the IICSE U. site and IICSE's own site. Quality operation, that's for sure.

Interesting snippet from the Springsfield website:

    "U.S. Federal Loans

The U.S. Department of Education website at provides comprehensive information about Direct Loans and how to apply for them. However, if you have received an offer of a place from us and require us to assess and confirm your eligibility for US Direct Loans, you must send us details about the acceptance of the offer."

Hmm. What's this all about?

    Finally found it!

Association of Universities and Colleges (AUC) Worldwide,
    BDHL 0739-3398, 4505 Honeywell Court (Door 31)
    Dayton 45424-5760 OH, U.S.A.

Website is http:// aucmembers-dot-org but going there does one no good. Requires a member login.
I wonder what kind of prize is behind Door 31?

Mbwa, I'm sure your info about the Yoruba guy in Abuja is correct - although I wasn't able to verify it on the Living Destiny Bible Church site, as it, too, required a password etc. Whois lists the registrant of the LDBC site as one Peter Coleman of "Springsfield International" in Cookham, Berkshire UK.

All these 1994-style sites appear interrelated and I think are likely the product of the same individual. Don't take any web-design courses here!

Ni yi ńlá kan jegudujera! How's that for Yoruba?

The domains are registered to Peter Coleman, Sir John White (if memory serves me right) and David David and as far as I can tell, they're all fake. David's real surname is a Yoruba name though. The Cookham address is fake too, or at least misleading.

Thanks for the info. As I said: "Ni yi ńlá kan jegudujera!" (Yoruba: "This is a big fraud!")

    IICSE University is 100% REAL

IICSE University, Inc. is 100% REAL. I work with IICSE University, Wilmington, DE 19899, U.S.A. A large number of students are currently studying with the University. Visit to have a talk with any of their graduated students. The University is fully and legally recognized by the State Government of Delaware, U.S.A. The University is based in Wilmington, Delaware, U.S.A. and has an agent in Nigeria, Myanmar-Asia and UK. If you have any issue with the University, then you should be bold to tell the public about your experience with the University. Instead of rating a University based on low-tuition-fees. To search for IICSE University entity proof of registration with the State Government of Delaware, simply click on the link below, and then search for IICSE University:

NOTE: The Government Web Site link above is available for search within Government working hours only (i.e. Search the web between hours of 800hrs and 1600hrs), whenever the Government systems database are available. IICSE University, Wilmington DE 19899, U.S.A. is REAL.

There are a number of distance learning universities with high-tuition-fees worth millions of dollars, and they have nothing special to offer. It is foolishness that make one rate a school base on free tuition-fees, look out for their products pls. "...No education for anyone without millions of dollars? mmh, lol." IICSE University, Wilmington, DE 19899, U.S.A. is a great school. The University is 100% REAL.

I think the real deal here is a proper accreditation - with USDOE and CHEA. Without that, the school is considered unaccredited (despite the State approval). There are some examples in CA I believe - where schools are State-approved but not accredited. And degrees from unaccredited schools, even if they are REAL and GREAT, poses problems ranging from acceptance at other schools to rejection for certain jobs.

I see we have a "Samuel" in this thread.

What, exactly, is it that you're doing at IICSE?

    As what?

    A Yoruba guy, right?
