Yeah but that's not what you said originally.

I wouldn't hold that against them. At the university where I was working - an accredited/recognised university which will soon celebrate its 600th birthday - the standard answer to questions about the acceptability and validity of its degrees in the US was "ask the Americans".

It's not a matter of holding that against them, but when a school with a very questionable accreditation, charging around thirty thousand dollars, is so cagey and evasive, raises serious questions regarding attending that school.

The example of your school is not comparable because it is accredited and recognized thereby not requiring the feedback I was seeking from IUGS.

Questionable to you, perhaps, but there's one in every crowd.

And yet you're going in circles, insisting that the fact they don't do this is one of the primary reasons you think they're so suspect.

My university or IUGS, it's still up to American universities, employers and WES, ECE, Educational Perspectives etc to decide on the acceptability and validity of the degrees in the US. Recognition of foreign credentials - and I've been working in that field for almost 15 years now - is not an exact science and recognition can be sought for vocational or academic purposes. The outcome is not necessarily the same.

Of course questionable to me. However, your defensive comment that there's one in every crowd has absolutely no relevance whatsoever because you have no idea how many others who have contacted this school feel similarly!

In terms of your comment that I'm going in circles, I had already moved on from this subject until another poster, MBWA, quoted my previous post resulting in my responding.

I realize that your conflict of interest in this matter is due to your pursuing NAB accreditation thereby prompting your provocative comments. Regardless, once again, I wish you the best of luck in obtaining this accreditation, and as stated previously, I mean this sincerely.

I quoted something you posted yesterday, so you'll have to excuse me for not realizing you had already moved on.
