$10 for 10 mg. of THC? $1 a milligram? Bad economics! I think a single mg. of a really powerful narcotic like oxycodone works out (illegally, of course) to maybe a bit less than $1, in 20 to 80 mg tablets!

How about "Dealer may sell for less?" What a waste of money.... all of it.

This is more or less what I've expected to come around. If it were a diet soda, it would be zero calories. A zero calorie alcopop alternative with no sugar crash. There's probably a big potential market.

I think our business/economics friends might suggest that in time, competition will push the price down, right? I’m waiting to see that first cannabis coffee product. I wonder what cute name they’ll come up with for that.

Already here. First one I saw - Pot-o-coffee. This site discusses seven of them. https://hightimes.com/edibles/7-energizing-cannabis-coffees/

Apparently, coffee-and-pot combos go back as far as the 1840s, in Paris, at the "Club des Hashischins." I first learned about that club when I was 17 or 18, studying 19th Century French lit. - which I still love. Quiet a few of my favourite French authors hung out there - including Paul Verlaine, Théophile Gautier, Honoré de Balzac ... big names.

    Nil sub sole novum.

I didn’t know any of that but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. I suppose that at some point Starbucks will jump on that bandwagon.

Probably - or if not, some other company will become "the new Starbucks." Funniest name I've heard yet for coffee+ pot? Colorado Speedball. :)
