    Just for info:
    They can in the UK.
My daughter graduated from York University with a DipHE in psychology and now works for a city helping problem kids.

For the USA or for your state check help wanted adds to see what qualifications are needed.

You can work in social services with a BSW just like someone with a bachelor's in psychology, except, the BSW will come with the bonus of being a licensed provider if your state licenses social workers at the bachelor's level. However, the BSW will require a practicum where you will have to work somewhere onsite. This is supposed to be an exhaustive list of CSWE-accredited, online social work programs.

Well looks like Troy University will be the choice any school under the University system of Georgia has to take P.E I tried to get them to substitute with health class but one of the colleges Darton I keep telling them I had a knee injury from my abuse it was bent over not aligned correctly both of my knees and torn ligament so surgery had to be done and was told it wouldn't be 100% ever again and would take sever years to heal. Darton keeps saying to me you can try in 2 years. How is Troy University? has anyone attended there before? I've heard its a good university

A licensed social worker with a masters degree has a much, much wider scope of practice than an equivalent masters in psychology or masters in counseling or family therapy. The MSW is the way to go if you aren't going further than a masters.

A bachelors in social work will allow you to practice, but in the US, the overwhelming majority of positions open for social workers are for people with an MSW, not a BSW.

So a bachelors in either psychology or social work is going to offer very limited career choices, but either is a good foundation to a masters degree. One option is to do a bachelors in psychology or sociology (of which there are a ton of online programs) and then do a two-year MSW. If you are able to find a BSW program then you can get into a one-year MSW program.

wow i just looked it up there are programs online that offer the MSW for one year so after i complete my bachelors in psychology i can start at a Masters in Social work i don't have to do a bachelors is that correct? i also read that a clinical social worker can diagnose children and counsel them as well

I also posted a direct link on page 2 to all of the CSWE-accredited distance programs in social work. There aren't many to choose from, so just start there.

i just read on the georgia department of family and children services job list on some of the jobs besides a degree in social work you can have a degree in any kind of behavioral science so the degree in psychology would work i am having no luck in finding a accredited college that offers a bachelors degree online in social work so it looks like i will have to obtain my bachelors in psychology and then if needed go after the 1 year program to obtain masters in social work
