I achieved Graduate Faculty status* in Spring 2023. I just saw the list yesterday. To my surprise, they list my university as Liberal University, not Liberty.. lol. I sent an email asking them to correct this. I understand that my views are liberal, but Liberty is conservative. I could understand if they wrote Conservative University :D

*For those who don't know, many universities require you to achieve graduate faculty status to teach graduate courses. So, even if you're a full-time (TT or NTT) faculty, you aren't automatically approved to teach grad classes. At my university, I applied (my chair recommendation), the chair signed off, the dean signed off, and the provost gave final approval. I'm at Associate-Level 1 status through Spring 2028, when I will automatically achieve Full Faculty (Graduate) Status.

My department has 10 full-time faculty (2 professors, 4 associate professors, 3 assistant professors, and 1 instructor). Only 5 of us have grad status. Not sure why the others don't because they have been here before me. Well, the instructor doesn't have a Ph.D.
