The Keller School of Management accepts National Bachelors Degrees for Masters Program!

I am in and will be starting sometime in 09!

I am so happy, I do not have to worry about getting an RA bachelors now!

They said they accepts 2 national Accreditors, but I am not sure the 2 they accept. I did not have to jump through any hoops for this.

Congratulations. I believed the 2 National Accreditors are DETC and ACICS. Correct me if i'm wrong.

I would assume so, as they are two of the larger national accreditors. Unfortunately, their web site does not specify which ones:

    General Admission Requirements

To be admitted to DeVry University's Keller Graduate School of Management, applicants must hold a baccalaureate degree from a University-recognized post-secondary institution. This includes institutions accredited by U.S. regional accrediting agencies or selected national accrediting agencies, and international institutions recognized as the equivalent.

The Distance Education and Training Council www.detc.org and the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools www.acics.org are both recognized national accreditors. However, I have seen the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology www.accsct.org variously referred to either as a national accreditor or as a professional accreditor for technology schools and I have also seen the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools www.tracs.org variously referred to as either a national accreditor or as a professional accreditor for religious schools. Hope this helps.

    I AM SO STOKED!!!

My plan is to complete my bachelors of science in Telecommunications Technology by mid December.

Then, In December and all the way through May or July, study for and pass my CCNA and start to study and train for my CCNP. I will not have my CCNP done before the summer, but I would like to get some of the subjects in my head as I can use them at work with our MPLS network.

Then, in July, start taking classes for my masters of Science in networking and communications management.

I will be taking classes according to the info I was presented: 8 week classes, on campus in Schaumburg, IL, one night a week for 3 or 4 hours, and it will be full time (They say 2 classes every 8 weeks is also full time, but it may not be right for everyone).

I am excited, this will lead my career and passion in telecommunications to new heights!

This is a major change (/progress?). Just a few years ago, Keller was very strict about accepting only RA credentials.

I am so happy they have accepted me though, I swear when I looked at their page 6 months ago they said they ONLY accepted Regionally Accredited degress.

About time - if I was a shareholder of Devry I'd be quite upset at a management team that would turn away potential students that would likely be successful in the academic programs.

Big congrats! I've enjoyed my DeVry (undergraduate) experience so far (going on three years now). DeVry/Keller is expensive though, so keep an eye out for something cheaper that will admit NA grads.

I have 100% employer tuition reimbursement for associate, bachelors and masters level, so I am not worried about price.

Actually, I was told by an admissions rep that they DO NOT accept DETC, but they do routinely accept ACICS.

I am not sure what other national accreditor is acceptable.

From Mt. Sierra College's web site. They are the school I am earning my bachelors at:

Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT), Arlington, VA

Approved as a degree-granting institution by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE), Sacramento, CA

Authorized by the U.S. Department of Education to offer Federal Loans and Grants to qualified students, Washington, D.C.

    Veterans Approved Institution

    From DeVry's online college catalog:

    Prior Educational Performance
Applicants are accepted if they meet at least one of
    the following criteria:
Have earned a qualifying associate • degree or higher
    from a DeVry-approved post-secondary institution.
    • Have completed an appropriate amount of qualifying
    college-level work at DeVry-approved post-secondary
institutions, with grades of at least C (70%)

Perhaps Mt. Sierra College is a "DeVry-approved post-secondary institution".
