Rich, if you're really so sure, why don't you file a False Claims Act case against two-year colleges? Think of how much they've collected from the federal government based on claims that they offer degrees.

No need. The proof is in reality, not claims.

Right. Reality is that the associate and the EdS are degreess. Claims by Degreeinfo members, no matter how persistant, must be taken with a grain of salt.

And yet Rich continues to list the A.A. and A.A.S. in his signature line. Nonetheless, the USAF Air University-Community College of the Air Force lists its Associate in Applied Science as a degree USAF Air University: Community College of the Air Force (e.g., CCAF is an accredited (SACS) degree granting entity: re Public Law 94-361, "DoD Authorization Act, 1977," (10 U.S.C. 2457), July 14, 1976. Moreover, Excelsior College (formerly USNY Regents College) as well lists the Associate in Science in Business as a degree program.

Perhaps a disclaimer might be appropriate –or better, in genuineness, simply remove the A.A. and A.A.S. listings from the signature line with the personal conviction that neither are degrees (?).

To be fair, there's no rule that says sig lines can only indicate degrees.

Anyway, I guess Rich's argument is that perception is reality, man.

Five Minutes University only took three minutes and 58 seconds.
