Civil War is not coming to the United States. It's rubbish to think so. There may be sporadic acts of alt.left violence and/or there may be paid alt.left actors (like Antifi) who create violent disturbances -- but that's it! CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, et al, are out of control... again... spewing rubbish!

Unfortunately, meagain, you have been fanning the flames . Cooler heads have been prevailing again you. Extremists are the problem, not difference of opinions.

Phdtobe, can you please give an example of how "me again" is inciting:
    1. Civil War? or
    2. Violence?

If you dont know that your views and opinions are extreme, then please enjoy your blissful life.

Phdtobe, can you please name one extreme view of "me again"? If you can name more than one example, then by all means, please do!

If you don’t know that you are extreme then is it futile of me to engage you on it. Maybe objective friends of yours can better educate you. I can only judge you on what you have written. Many years ago, myself was also a jerk.

Or obsessive. Online fora seem to beg obsessiveness.

Phdtobe, thank you kindly for clarifying that (1) you were previously a jerk (that is your own self-description) and that (2) you are no longer a jerk (again, that's your own self-description). Phdtobe, after many years of hard work and self-effort, you have finally achieved humility in the presence of everyone. Congratulations! It was a long and difficult journey. Conversely, once you realize that you've reached the pinnacle of humility -- then have you really? That is food for thought in your continued journey in this challenging mortal life.

I am still working on the pinnacle of humility, even the best-known Stoics were not able to achieve Sage status. Also, if you knew me very well, there are so many other faults you could have mentioned other than the one that I have provided.

I voted "rubbish". However, any future civil wars are likely to be black swans and no one will be able to see them coming beforehand.

Michael Moore says they have to put their bodies on the line to stop Trump. His body should fill a barricade or two.

As y'all know, I love jokes as much as anyone. But, on a more serious side, I think that this thread is a good indication of the notion that DegreeInfo has gone to hell in the proverbial handbasket.

My notion a few years ago was that DegreeInfo was all but dead.
