CEPH accreditation is in the works, and the MPA program is getting updated with new concentrations. I haven't heard anything concerning doctorates at AMU for some time now...

Last I heard they added a few degrees and certificates and they sent out a poll asking what the students think about certain doctorate degrees. They said no PhD's would be offered, just "working" doctorates. I heard this a few weeks ago. But still no date on actually offering them. And I heard a BSEE is in the works, too. Not sure how true it is, but that's what I was told.

This is interesting! TY. I remember that they've polled about doctorates in past years, including IIRC about a history Ph.D. that never seemed to come close to launch. I certainly wouldn't count them out of launching professional doctorates.

And this is very interesting. I think UND is just about on its own in entry-level professional training in engineering (not engineering technology) by DL from the United States.

There is now an online BSEE completion program at Stony Brook, for those who have already taken introductory math and science courses in an AS program. They hope to obtain ABET accreditation in 2014, after they graduate their first class.

APUS has recently been advertising for online adjunct electrical engineering faculty. They have also advertised for a "Program Director, Electrical Engineering", who is expected to pursue ABET accreditation.
