Since I did my Army service first, I was a bit slow getting to my degrees. But my poll answer is for my first master's:

    B.A. @ 27
    M.S.Ed. @ 29
M.S. @ 38 (earned en route to the PhD)
Ph.D. @ bound and determined to finish before my 43rd birthday on 12Nov 2010! :)

    Cheers,
    Adrienne

No current plans for a doctorate, although I am thinking about a second masters (MBA) down the road. There are many interesting continuing education and certificate programs that I would like to do first.

    A.A.S - 26
    B.S. - 28
    M.A. - 31
    A.A.S - 32
    M.P.H. - 33

The next degree I get will be another A.A.S. through the Air Force due to an upcoming career field change. I should be 36 when that happens. I see me completing another masters before turning 40 but have zero plans at this point for a doctorate.

So I would think. Come on, Rich, you mentioned it in three threads. Don't keep us all in suspense -- what's the Next Big Thing? :)

I finished my Technical Diploma at 19, Bachelor equivalent at 25, Master's at 36, started Doctorate at 41. Plenty of working experience before the Master degree and still working while pursuing the Doctorate.

  12. I don't think that it matters about age if you want to go further with your education. There was a story in our local newspaper recently about a man who earned his Ph.D at 81.

It would take too long to tell you all the reasons but I wasn't able to get my education as I would have wanted. As a result, I have had more comebacks than the Frankenstein monster. This will be the last one- when I finish, I am finished. Hopefully that will end with a doctorate and/or my fantasy of five degrees.
