This is an incredible find Mike. Anyone in law enforcement/homeland security should take a look at this. I wish i was already done with my bachelor's degree but I'm only past the AAS currently. Awesome find man! :)

The content of the certificate course in Conflict Analysis has been rather interesting and using recent conflicts as examples throughout the course aids in understanding the theoretical underpinnings of the conflict analysis framework.

I found the problem. These pages don't open on Firefox, which is the browser I usually use. They do open in Internet Explorer, which usually means that the pages use "Active X'.

    Thanks

BTW, Microsoft recommends SHUTTING DOWN Active X if you use Windows XP or Microsoft Windows Server 2003 because of an unresolved vulnerability

    finding useful

I really appreciate your listing of these sources of courses and I've taken about two dozen.

IMHO, these from Pacific Emprints are the best in terms of providing detailed, specific information on medical conditions. Some knowledge of medical terminology is required, but then again you can look up the terminology on the web as you take the course.

Thanks again for this great information. My employer is profoundly impressed with the two or three certificates I turn in for my personnel file each week. .

I am glad to hear that the courses are doing you some good. I had a time in my life that I couldn't afford paid training courses and decided to seek out every free course I could to not let my education stop. I also believe highly in having something in hand to prove you have done the training like a certificate. I like to give out the links to these courses so no one else has to go through all the hundreds of hours of searching that I did to find them.

This program is mostly on-line but there is a residential component. From FAQ:

How often am I required to be in-residence in either Monterey, CA or the National Capital Region?
Participants are required to be in-residence only two weeks every quarter (for a total of twelve weeks for the whole 18-month program).

I'm right now in a quite similar situation. It's really impressive how many possibilities you uncovered there for us. Please, please keep them coming Michael! Even so the whole HS/Emergency area is not really that relevant to me there are still lots of gold nuggets hidden in your postings. For me the latest big thing you digged up are the http://www.act-online.net/ courses. I really like that they are not only issued by FEMA but also carry the University of Memphis name. So far I have 6 down and 2 to go. (btw did anyone invest the $25 for the official certificate/transcript? do they look any different to the generated one?).

On a side note: Are there any recommended strategies on how to best put them on a CV? What I noticed is that some hr people don't really get the idea behind it. My standard explanation goes than somewhat in the "I like to challenge my self on new subjects and reach a certain level of proficiency in them" direction. But the more I collect the more I could build clusters of certificate areas (macro ones like Biz, IT, Emergency or micro ones like Ethics, Leadership). Any additional strategy suggestions besides listing all/listing only job relevant ones/listing major clusters?
