Hi - I hope you don't mind but I decided it would be a good idea to mess up the phone numbers. Beyond that, my own experience is that ads like this are really quite common. I have several email accounts and I'm always clearing out crap like that.
The "University Degree Program" in Bucharest pioneered this approach. They sent out over a million emails a day for about nine years. Only about one person out of 2,000 responded, but of those who did respond, about 1/3 ended up buying at least one degree. They sold about 500,000 degrees over that nine-year period.
And as long as there are suckers around to buy stuff like this, SPAM will never go away. It's far too profitable.
