I may be geographically challenged but I did know that Texas has a coastline. I also know that it's such a big state that there are places so far from the ocean that you might as well be in Kansas. I'm still pointed here: Ecuador Beaches, Beach Resorts
At least you folks don't have to be tramping through the snow looking for a crazed cop killer, as they are in the heavy snows of southern California.
Tireman – we need to go back to telling people it’s too darn hot and humid, folks carry side arms to kill snakes, can’t walk without getting dung on boots, etc. It’s getting too crowded with all these Yankees coming down here!:laughing: BTW, I’m a bit southwest of you on the Old Spanish Trail. Kizmet – do it while you are young(ish) so there is plenty of time to start over - if it doesn’t work out. And yes, if you blink the Oklahoma panhandle - you could wake up in Kansas! John - we all have our share of renegade problems.
All told, we ended up with 31" in my town in central Mass. I spent the day snowblowing the driveway and had some drifts in the 4.5 - 5' range...Quite a storm!!
Who probably staged another vehicle there prior to his rampage and took it when he left his burning truck behind. Just sayin'.....
It will be an exciting few days. Meanwhile, we may have tornadoes in the Only Celebrity Condition this few days.
