Fake degree operation

We sometimes joke about simply printing your own diploma but this place actually does it. Then a newspaper discovered they were selling these fraudulent degrees. Read this and learn something about "Hedd."

Apparently, it's one of about 240 sites offering forged degrees of real British universities. I think we had a post on one of the others recently. Most (or all) are not in UK and therefore hard to prosecute.
Someone who uses such a forged degree in UK is likely taking a risk - but I doubt there's much of a risk of a call to HEDD if a good-looking fake is used abroad - not that I'll be trying it.
