Face-to-Face Meetings

Pity I didn't know you were in El Cerrito. Until last year I was in Berkeley and Albany.(And miss it.)I'm now in Maryland.

For those who don't know, El Cerrito, Albany, And Berkeley are just across the SF Bay from the GGBridge.

I suspect that Mr. Piper might just be indulging in a little chain yanking. I do remember you being mentioned once, Rich. I can assure you that nothing really negative was said about anyone frequenting this forum by either one of us.

Now MIGS was the butt of many delightful jokes. I also recall laughing about some individual frauds, arrogant boneheads in charge of less-than-wonderful schools and a disgusting spammer that posts on Usenet. I don't believe that any of these "joke butts" currently have anything posted in this fine upstanding forum.

So in honor of Tom Head's thoughtful request (made in another thread) that this thread remain a thread dedicated to comradery, friendship and kindness I would like to just say

A more accurate statement was never made. Yes, where I live teachers and social workers and other helping professions can actually buy a house in the same city in which they work. Move my house to San Franciso (or anywhere in the Bay area) and the cost would double (at least).

My schedule is always tight but let me know what your schedule is (I assume you are at the medical center... staying downtown perhaps?).

 

I will be staying at the Marriott 5150 westeimer. Wednesday evening we have a reception from 6-8PM and Friday a BBQ 7pm to ? and I wing my way home on Sunday at "O" dark thirty.
