I am finishing up my Masters in Elementary Ed through University of Phoenix. I love the program and it takes about 24 months. You can email me personally if you want to chat about it. Ignore the comments about UOP being Mcdonaldland University. We don't have a lot of degree programs in this field to choose from with no residency requirements.

    M.Ed

California State University, Hayward has an online masters program, also easy to complete in 24 months or less. It is quite doable, even with job and family. Its not the easiest, but not so difficult, either. And its less expensive than UoP.

So, does this mean that Scott was lying when he posted what he claimed was the PM that was attacking Gus?

    he-he

P.S. I especially enjoyed the gross hypocrisy of Scott harassing Gus to get the source of his degrees when Scott is such a "keyboard coward" that he won't even use his real name!

    Ah what?

I do not go around making fun of, accusing, or calling people names for no reason. I also have told about my education. The hypocrisy is criticizing people when you yourself are too ashamed to lay yours out. When you say that others degrees are fraudulent then you should have the balls to show that yours are not. You gave an answer when I asked about yours. Why is he so skeered?

Gus was just looking to start a fight, and I am sure that was the same reason you made the above post. I guess you have gotten board over the last couple of days, so lets get another one going. I think people see you two for what you are.

If Gus wants the right to demand answers of everyone else, he should name his schools. If he is unwilling to name the schools he has graduated from, it may be assumed he has something to hide. This is a common question that is asked of everyone here at some point, Gus isn't exempt from this same scrutiny. I would not answer any questions from Gus till he proves his credentials. He is either willing to submit to the same degree of examination he demands of others or he is not.

Nobody does; everyone, I am sure, has his or her own reason to do so.

I hereby apologize for calling anyone on this forum a “fool,” a “smart ass,” an “obnoxious ass” and just a plain “ass.”

Uh… Wait a minute! I never did call anyone those names; that was you!

I hereby rescind the apology. :D

Were you somehow forced to do so, or did you did so of your own free will?

What makes you think that you can correctly ascribe motives to my behavior and choice? What proof do you have that I am ashamed? Have you considered the fact that by not claiming any degrees I can comment on the credentials of others without being accused of trying to make my credentials appear superior? Moreover, I don’t need to reveal my credentials to criticize those who claim and or promote fraudulent degrees. Personally, I believe it is preferable not to have any degrees at all than one from a degree mill.

The only hypocrisy in this situation is that, once again, an anonymous troll is trying to champion the cause of full disclosure.

To what do you attribute your strange fascination with my testicles? This is the third time you mention them. When I state that a particular degree or school is substandard, I can prove it. My credentials have nothing to do with the veracity of my statements.

Huh? Does this have something to do with your neighbor the polygraph expert? ;)

No. I came here for information just like most do. I gave my history, and then you start some crap with me like you do with most people.

Well you have come close to admitting that you do not have any degrees, so why not tell the truth. Oh, you can't do that because you have already stated that your degrees are all RA. Yea right. Oh, and no I do not think you are ashamed I think you have no shame.

How do we know Gus is your name? Could we look at your profile? No you do not even have where you are from, so I just removed this from my profile just to be more like you. :D

Actually Gus, I do not think you have any testicles.

No longer my neighbor he moved near Langly. His wife called us last night, and maybe next time I talk to him I could get him to do some research for me. ;)

Oh, and since you like to research show me where I have promoted a fraudulant degree.

    Your Bunkie,

    Scott

I don’t believe I have ever expressed or implied that I had the right to demand answers from anyone. I do have the right, (just like everyone else on this forum) to ask questions. I also have the right to object to dishonesty and subterfuge. In other words, I have no problem with someone who honestly states that he or she will not answer a question. I do, however, reserve the right to comment on the dishonest and evasive nature of an answer from an individual who professes to have truthfully and straightforwardly answered a question when, in fact, he or she did not. I don’t think the distinction is too subtle for a person of average intelligence to be able to tell the difference.

It is your right to assume anything you want. Let your imagination run wild.

Of course I am. Any one who has answered such a question has done so of their own free will. Many post their credentials after their names, just as many hang their diplomas on the walls of their offices or homes. I choose to do neither. In fact, even my business cards adhere to this same philosophy; I am listed simply as Gus Sainz (no title). Just Gus Sainz, that’s it.

First, I don’t believe you would have any information of use to this forum that would warrant me asking you a question. Second, I don’t demand that anyone be subjected to any degree of examination. Case in point, I have never requested that another member of this forum reveal his or her credentials. Third, I believe everyone has the right to scrutinize any information that is made public on this forum. No one has ever been forced to answer a question or reveal personal information. If you want to question or somehow give less import to my comments on any school or credential because I choose not to reveal mine, that is fine and well. Although, (and this is what’s really important) because I can back up all of my statements with solid evidence, I fail to see the relevance, it is still your right. Just as it is my right to take your personal comments, observations, and experiences with a BIG grain of salt because you are not a real person. For example, when you post about your experiences at a DETC school, are they not to be believed because there really isn’t anyone named kf5k (or just plain James) enrolled at any DETC school?

As if it wasn’t sufficiently hypocritical that you (yet another individual that does not post under his or her real name) claim to be championing the cause of full disclosure, your comments clearly contradict Thoreau’s quote you have included in your signature.

Wrong. Check the archives. You gave a lot of crap to Dennis, Bruce and Tom long before I replied to one of your messages (thereby causing you to become obsessed with me and parts of my anatomy).

Hmm… Let’s see, was there a point in there somewhere? Anything you can actually substantiate?

Good point. You don’t know if that is my real name, just as you wouldn’t know if any credentials I listed were real. That’s precisely why they are so irrelevant.

I wonder whether you truly are this naive about this whole Internet thing, or you are just choosing to appear ignorant to elicit sympathy.

I also wonder how many ad hominem attacks like these (clearly in violation of the TOS of this forum) you are going to be allowed to post. The moderators and administrators bend over backwards to not seem like they are stifling the free flow of ideas, but they do have their limits.

Your post concerning your neighbor was the most incoherent message ever posted on this forum, and that’s saying quite a lot. Why don’t you have your friend do the research and then post your discoveries here on this forum? I think I might be more concerned if your friend lived near Langley instead of Langly.

Before I do that, why don’t you show me where I have actually stated that you have promoted a fraudulant degree?

    Regarding AIU.
Sorry I have not responded but quite tied up with work and study.

As stated on the thread I am a active student with AIU.
You are slightly ahead of me since I will not begin my Masters program until May.

Here is the scoop on AIU.
    Easy? Nope.
    Fast? Yep.

Since the degree program is 10 months in length the workload is double if not triple that of a standard program. Being RA, AIU must uphold it's requirements. You will have the same amount of credits as with any other college just crammed into a tight package.

    Cost?
Expensive, however, I find it in line with many other colleges offering online learning. Heck we all know it's about the Benjamin's.!!!!:D

A normal week at AIU consist of required discussion board with multiple required responses. All topics must be in detail, period. Had some professors requiring mucho wordo, and some not.
Individual projects are 1-3 required per week. AMA with 3-6 page minimums with all reference notated.
Group projects can be 1-3 in total per class length with a high grade count focus.

Not bragging, but I carry a 4.0 average. Im an A type personality, X-Military, so I want nothing but the best. With that, I work five nights a week on school. 7pm-11pm. Some Saturday's 7am- noon.
I even sign on during my lunch break at work.
Heck, as much $$$ as it cost, I want the most out of it!

Oh, yes. There is professor chat 1-3 nights per week. Not required, but you should plan to attend if you want to enhance your grade. Basically, assignment knowledge.

    Hope that helps.
    AIU.
    It's quick, It's hard, It's expensive, It's RA, and yes, It's fun.

    American InterContinental University Online.
Yes, I would refer it to anyone.
Maybe I should charge for advertising!!!

    Hmm

Mary made a good comment regarding the States.
I checked with AIU. They are certified.
I cannot say for sure, but there are comment regarding
UoP. Understand they are not certified in 5 or so states.

    You might want to follow-up

Ha, if I were going this route in Ed. I would be SOLD!!! Sounds like a great 10 month challenge. I didn't check, but I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that a thesis/project is not required

I am going to an NA school, Mt. Sierra, and some of my classes, I am a senior now, have 2 papers due each week, in the same class, 3 to 6 minimum pages, ama, with references, Cover Sheet, Index, and Appedixes required.

Not saying AIU is easy, because I do not think these classes I am in now are easy.

It just shows NA schools are not easy (referring to Mt. Sierra)
