Duration of a Research Master UNISA

    Hi!

    Unisa indicates a duration of 1 year for this Research Master Unisa Cart - Info
    Is it possible to finish it earlier?

    I believe 1 year in the minimum. And even that would really be pushing it.

    I think the PhD program in History is 2 years ( THAT is really pushing it). I am giving myself 3.5 years to finish.

    Did you have to submit an essay, concept paper, or proposal as part of the enrollment process?

    Yes, I had to send an overview of my dissertation, or a proposal as it were. It was 20 pages.

    If I ever started to write a dissertation, it probably wouldn't make it to the length of your proposal before I decided that I'd rather play Tetris for the next 3.5 years of my life :D

    Thank you for your answers. I already have a postgraduate certificate...so I think a postgraduate diploma is better and faster. Btw UNISA offers postgraduate diplomas too but I can´t find any other information about their courses or what you have to complete for a diploma...
