Cosby case ends in mistrial

    TV comedians seem to have very long life spans. Bob Hope, Professor Irwin Corey, Señor Wences, George Burns each passing 100, for instance. (Mrs. Bob Hope, also, 102).

    The biggest question in my mind is what evidence brought the case over the hurdle from "he said/she said" to "beyond reasonable doubt". I might just be the worst googler ever, but I can't find this information.

    The accusers attourney is hailing the verdict as a triumph for the cause of women being believed. I really hope women being believed isn't taking precedence over the presumption of innocence and the procecution's burden of proof.

    Some do, some don't - e.g. Freddie Prinze died at 22.. Some also die at a somewhat later age, but nothing extraordinary - e.g. George Carlin, 71, Richard Pryor, 65. Then again, there's Bob Newhart to prove your point - he's 88 and still going.
    I'm still hoping to be shot at 106 by a jealous husband. Then again, I'm no comedian...
