I once did a yahoo search for degreeboard.com and was sent to degreechat.

    It sent me here...

Funny. I almost never use Yahoo - but as an experiment, I typed in "degreeboard" today and it suggested this: DegreeBoard

This forum is also called "DegreeBoard" and started at the end of 2009 - about the time the old DB forum was discontinued. There are a total of about 4 posts and it seems inactive since Jan 2010.

The old DegreeBoard site was definitely bought up by Sheila Danzig and the forum we remember was discontinued at that time.

    It was here, Ted...

Online Degree Forum: Discuss online colleges, programs, and courses

I remember answering you here, Ted. You'd recently discovered the place and wanted to know if - in your words, "Lord Levicoff" ever trod those boards. I regretfully informed you that Dr. Steve had not graced the site with his presence.

That would be around 2006-2007. I don't think you had more than 5-6,000 posts on DI at the time. 10K? Wow, I'm in awe!

Hmm... Now why would someone purchase a distance learning discussion board just to shut it down?

There was more to the site than the discussion forum, Ted. Blog, ads, articles etc. Only the forum-part was shut down. I presume Sheila purchased the site for whatever Internet message/advertising she wished to use, to promote her company's services.
