I could see some Dem President appointing her to the UN or some other Ambassadorship. Beyond that I'd say that's she's all done.

Yeah, nothing can be done if people refuse to follow her paragraphs, now can it? She makes the case for evidence-based view of policy. Which you of all people should appreciate. Don't you subscribe to a magazine called "Reason"?

Unlike her caricature, yes, actually, she is.

Also, I believe she's exhausted and traumatized by the 2016 campaign, and is not eager to repeat it. I can't blame her.

As opposed to all the more successful advocates for the same who preceded her?
I know you're not doing this on purpose, but this is an example of double standard. A man in her position would be praised for trying to move this enormously difficult thing. Bernie gets lots of love for keeping to introduce the same bill that has no chance of passing. I'm not even going into the current GOP+Trump debacle. But yeah, hehehe, Hillarycare!

She's 70 and a grandmother. So yeah, task force on something, ambassadorship, "senior advisor", but no major elected offices, and probably no Cabinet-level appointments either. The country is worse for it, btw. She'd do great. And yes, I'd love to be mistaken on this one.

We'll have to agree to disagree on relative magnitude of these two mistakes, Bruce.

Also, I wonder if you imagine that a Pakistani working in IT is in any way noteworthy. Because, LOL.
