There isn't. You can set up your e-mail program to read and post to newsgroups. The one in question is alt.education.distance.

An alternative is to go to www.google.com and click on "Groups." Then enter "alt.education.distance" in the block and you'll get a reverse chronological listing of its posts.

In either case, put on personal protective gear prior to entering, and don't forget to wash up afterwards. It is messy.

It looks like several people from here are popular there. :D

Rich seems to have won the contest, and the bear is the runner up. :D

This site doesn't seem to mirror online degree though.

This Roy, and others there, were they banned from here?

Some of them are likely multiple posters under a series of names.

    Wow.

    I'm a nonachieving degree craver.
And Rich and I are f*** buddies.

Noting that Janko's two consecutive posts listed the same number of posts for him (1989), I looked at the numbers for other multiple posters (Bruce, scott, etc.) and their numbers aren't advancing either. Flaw in program, or do the guys with eyeshades and pencils come in during the wee hours to add everything up and change the numbers?

It's neither, John, merely a consequence of how the software functions. Threads are not stored as files, they are reconstructed on-the-fly when requested. Some data, post count and sig file as examples, are always current. The individual posts are separate files in a database to which the poster info is appended as the thread is created.

If you search out and call up the first post you ever made to the forum, it will have your current post count and sig file attached.

Amending this for those around during our first year with different BB software. The importation into the vBulletin software may have locked in old sig files.
