I am looking for information on City University, out of Washington state. I am looking for an MBA program and possibly an MPA (public administration) program. Input from people who have experience and/or a degree from them would be appreciated, as well as information anyone has to offer. Thanks.
I've heard mention of them only in discussion of their IT programs, but in that regard, I've heard nothing but praise. There are *tons* of MBA programs out there, and City would seem to be a decent choice, but you might want to look around to see if there's one that fits your particular needs better. You might want to check out Bears' Guide to the Best MBA degrees, available through Amazon or (very soon) through this very site. There is also an excellent website with over 100 MBA programs listed (Johnny's MBA Site), but I don't offhand have the URL... maybe one of the other regulars can help out here. Best of luck! Chip

Hi Jason, I completed my MBA from City University in 1996 (management / leadership specialty). I enjoyed the program tremendously. Program design was top notch. Faculty were accessible and helpful. The student support services were quick and professional. At the same time, I put a lot of work into the effort. For me, it worked. I enjoyed it so much that I kept studying leadership / management / org . theory at the Ph.D. level (Fielding - another great school). To me, that's another indicator of a good program: Is it such a good experience that you don't want to stop. It was transformational. Barry Foster
