This might be a good time to stop the shooting and re-read Chip's post in the top thread.:)

Fair enough. Of course, there hasn't been a single thing in this thread that even pretends to contradict what I posted. That, I would hope, is significant.

Nothing. I simply stated that what you posted were allegations, since I hadn't verified anything. I don't understand why you have a problem with that.

Only that you acted upon them, then didn't, then called them "alleged," then criticized me when I pointed out that they are substantiated. But....

Let's drop it. You're doing a great job. I didn't set out to have anyone banned. But please endeavor to return the moved thread--or at least acknowledge the substance of what I've said when you can. In the meantime, I think we've both been heard and understood, eh?

As I mentioned already, more than once, I never took action against any member. I merely contemplated it.

    Agreed.

Yes, you've both been heard and understood.

But not heard from are Suhar and French.

    P. French is now mouthing off in AED. It isn't pretty to see that big of an ego.

I've just received totally reliable information from my country cousins in Australia that Richard Suhar and Peter French are definitely not allowed to log on or post at DegreeInfo. That is, they've been 'banned' - presumably because their views were contrary to the DegreeInfo philosophy. Surely this could not happen in the USA, which is the last bastion of democracy? (Apart from New Zealand, of course)
If they were banned for not toeing the party line I must also be on the DegreeInfo 'hit list', but such moves simply achieve nothing for the image of DegreeInfo.
Perhaps the moderators could inform members about why Richard and Peter were banned.

    for the sake of clarity

    Hi Dr. A.,

...that Richard Suhar and Peter French are definitely not allowed to log on or post at DegreeInfo. That is, they've been 'banned' - presumably because their views were contrary to the DegreeInfo philosophy...

I would have thought that banning came about (if it did at all) after multiple violations of the Terms of Service agreement, rather than for taking exception to the prevailing views of degreeinfo posters.

I think there's an important distinction here-- it's what separates legitimate policing of an organization from fascism.

    Hi G

Dr Duck has gone off the deep end. Now everything is a conspiracy against the legion of unaccredited degree mill schools out there just trying to recognize the hard work(read credit card payments) of their customers. It couldn't possibly be that anyone would ever violate TOS! My god man these guys had legitimate unaccredited degree mill degrees! How could they ever violate TOS?!

I just posted a message on the "accredited vs. unaccredited" forum offering to buy a copy of Hayes' PhD dissertation. He names the price (obviously within reason) I'll even pay the postage. Will he do it? Will he hold back? If he holds back then he forfeits his PhD credibility as it indicates that his research will not withstand PhD level scrutiny. Stay tuned.

    Jack,
I have never claimed that the TCU PhD had credibility. All I have ever claimed is that the whole exercise helped produce a management manual with real credibitity.
For some reason, best known to yourself, you appear obsessed with TCU. Together with an obsession to demean myself and my work with brown teal.
I have already replied to your other post.

Every time you call yourself Doctor you claim that your TCU PhD has credibility. You could have produced the manual without the PhD scam. I couldn't care less about TCU, it's your constant claim of being a PhD that has started this ball rolling. I've never been interested in demeaning you or your work. In fact, if I had to I could point to a number of posts that I've made over the past months in which I stated explicitly that your work was probably pretty good. However, none of that means that you've earned a PhD and unless you're willing to provide a copy of your dissertation you had better get used to being Mr. Duck and not Dr. Duck. BTW, I've already replied to your other post too.

No matter what I write Jack you choose to ignore, also calling me a liar at the same time. Your attitude clearly shows that you have no credibility at all.
If my life depended on it I would not now send you either the TCU dissertation or a copy of the manual. or a copy of the TCU PhD dissertation requirements.
I find it difficult to believe you have a degree at all. Although it could be a medical degree, as all medical students are taught to believe they are GOD!

I don't recall a recent post from Richard Suhar and anything from Peter French unfortunately has been boringly mild.

Either the administrators know something I don't know or they royally frigged up and combined the names of the two individuals. When you search for Peter's posts you get a mixed up mess.

The R/A puppies, wagging their tails in unison, appear to me as being held to a lesser standard in the application of terms of service.

I believe the reason for this is the belief in the kennel that calling someone with non-R/A degree a stupid lazy bastard is OK because they believe it to be true.

My country cousins have no idea why they have been banned from posting.
I can list three DegreeInfo RA Extremists that should have been banned long ago.
Whatever my country cousins did would pale into insignificance compared to the antics of 'the gang of three'.

Is this guy just an innocent bystander?

    Richard A. Suhar PE CMfgE

He's one of Kennedy-Western's finest graduates but seems to have moved on. Nice enough guy.

The "suhar" that Peter French's posts have been renamed must be a riddle known only to the administrators.

Both Richard Suhar and Peter French have a wealth of experience in Distance Learning. The fact that they have been banned is an extremely sad indictment on the DegreeInfo moderators.
Apparently all Peter did was comment on a PhD dissertation - in far more moderate tones than those I've been subjected to from both Bill Huffman and Jack Tracey. I don't believe Richard made any comment on the dissertation.

I don't believe that it took place here.

I don't think that Chip or Bruce would deny an R/A bias.
