MNomadic posted this on DegreeForum about a month ago. It's about time we talked about this here, too!

Some of the details are still unclear, but the courses are set to start soon. You can pre-register now, and also sign up for a live information session to occur via Zoom next Wednesday.

I'm excited about this and I hope I'm among those who get in!

I pre-registered. Can't go wrong with a free graduate certificate plus 15 RA graduate credits.. Might see if they transfer to Amberton University or Fort Hayes later on for a degree in Human Resources / Management degree or Professional Development / Professional Studies

According to an email I received after pre-registering, the certificate is pending approval. I guess they have to run the program by HLC since it's new.

I think it's worth the wait. No rush on my end as I am finishing my HAU MBA.

Are you wanting to get a professional studies or human resources degree on top of the MBA? I'm not sure this curriculum will fit in a human resources program. It's more aligned with international business and global management. It appears that Fort Hayes' human resources program is a concentration within their MBA.

I see they offer 40 languages, but English is not mentioned. They do offer an English-language brochure though. I think I'll pass - I've got enough on my plate as is. Cool opportunity though.

I have to see where they fit, the classes are business/ international business courses plus I got my HAU MBA which I should be done in June. It would fit most likely best in Professional Development at Amberton Unversity or Professional Studies at Fort Hayes. I have two human resources courses so I wanted to check maybe if anything else can fit. Amberton accepts 12 transfer credits for graduate programs.

    1. Global Leadership in the Fourth Industrial Revolution
    2. Customer Experience and Digital Marketing in a Global World
    3. Global Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Business
    4. Data Analytics and Digital Transformation in a Global World
    5. Global Financial Accounting

Just as a side note I don't need an extra degree but my employer gives me reimbursement for school so why not.

Regarding Amberton, their MS in Human Relations & Business degree has room for 2 electives, and doesn't have course equivalency requirements within the business courses domain. So, it's quite likey that they would accept 12 credits in transfer from this certificate, but of course, it helps to ask them first! There's even enough room in the rest of the course requirements to have a specialization in Human Resources Management added to the degree.

Someone following that path could kill two birds with one stone and save a lot of money in the process. If HAU never came along, that's exactly what I would be doing right now.

Killing birds is an ugly business - but in this case, the savings justify it. I think you're 100% right.

The language around this offer and all of the photographs seem to indicate that the target is "underserved communities" and specifically women, and from the marketing aspect it looks like Native American or Hispanic/Latinx women. I didn't see any "exclusionary" language about application, but it does make me wonder if the opportunity is open to everyone or if it is a selective opportunity only for certain applicants.

There is a laundry list of ambiguities in the press releases and emails. Hopefully, we'll know more soon. This is all supposed to start in April!!!!

I received one immediately. Did you double check your spam folder? If you still don't see it, I don't think it would hurt to fill the form out again.
