It really depends on who is taking the class, if you get the class 'free' from work because of 'learning, professional development, upgrading, etc', then why not? I would grab it in a heart beat, but I wouldn't go for it unless I get a real deal or discount from it. These are interesting offerings, but not necessarily needed if there are affordable alternatives...
