Yes no better more reliable source is really available for a question such as this.

edit: BTW, Iran has launched a dozens of drones at Israel. They are currently in the air and should hit Israel within an hour or two.

IDF downed more than 100 drones, US downed many over sea and Jordan downed some, basically Jordan closed it air and downing any anothorized flying object.
There are reports that misiles were fired as well.

I would really like to know what sort of warhead/payload those drones were carrying.

Iran sending drones and missiles over Jordan without permission is an act of war. It would have been more interesting had Jordan not shot them down.

Well, yes, but Jordan could have chosen to lodge a strong protest in the utterly useless (but occasionally convenient) UN.

Note, please, that our good buddies in Iraq and Saudi Arabia aren't shooting down any drones.

I too found that interesting. I was wondering if Jordan might get into any difficulties for their decision?

Regarding the permission point, I'd have to guess that Iran at least warned the countries bordering Israel that their air space was going to be violated. Perhaps that little info is what alerted the USA that something was going to happen? Perhaps Iran didn't feel they needed to warn Jordan though?

Some other interesting questions floating around, what do folks think of the possibility that Netanyahu might try something major to get USA help in destroying Iran. For example, Netanyahu launches a major attack on Iran with the stated purpose within Israel of destroying Iranian nuclear research. This would likely extend Bibi's government survival within Israel. Another plus for Bibi is that it would likely help Trump win the election.

How be someone just ties Bibi up and leaves him, bound and gagged, in central Tehran, on the front steps of the Office of the Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, Head of State and Commander in Chief. It would make quite a statement. :)

    Reuters:
Jordan airforce shoots down Iranian drones flying over to Israel
    By Suleiman Al-Khalidi
April 13, 20245:03 PM PDTUpdated 6 hours ago

AMMAN, April 13 (Reuters) - Jordan's air force intercepted and shot down dozens of Iranian drones that violated its airspace and were heading to Israel, two regional security sources said.
They said the army was also in a state of high alert and radar systems were monitoring any drone activity coming from the direction of Iraq and Syria.
Residents in several cities in the northern part of the country near Syria and central and southern areas heard heavy aerial activity.

Jordan had earlier said it closed its airspace starting on Saturday night to all incoming, departing and transiting aircraft in what officials told Reuters were precautionary measures in the event of an
"The relevant authorities took the decision to close the airspace for precautionary reasons as a result of the surrounding security situation," Jordan's government spokesperson Muhannad Mubaideen said.
Mubaideen denied media reports that the kingdom had announced a state of emergency, adding there was no cause for concern among its citizens.
Jordan neighbors Syria and Iraq – both countries where Iranian proxy forces operate – and also is next door to Israel and the Israeli West Bank.

In Israel a first victim of the attack, a seven-year-old girl from a Bedouin village near Arad was seriously wounded by the Iranian attack.
The Missiles and drones indistinctly could hit cities that are mixed population of Jews and Arabs.
Some intercepted or exploding missiles fell in Bedouin areas.
The IDF has updated that the full Iranian attack consisted of over 300 threats, of which 100 were ballistic missiles launched from Iran. Another 30 cruise missiles were launched from the Islamic Republic, along with drones. There were also two rounds of rockets, around 40 total, fired on Israel from Lebanon, with Israel responding with counterattacks in close to real-time.
None of the drones or cruise missiles entered Israeli airspace. IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari noted that only a small number of ballistic missiles penetrated the Jewish state's airspace.
Almost all interceptions have been by US, and also by the Israeli aircraft, David's Sling, the Arrow missile systems. The Iron Dome, which defends well against Hamas and Hezbollah's simple rockets, is less relevant for drones and fancier long-range missiles.

    Israel Channel 11:
Prior coordination between US and Israel, the division of the skies into active sectors, were what made it possible to intercept 99% of the threats.

While the last six months challenged the sense of Israeli independence, President Biden was the one who stood by Israels side.
If at the beginning of the war he provided a short and clear message for the possibility of Nasrallah joining Hamas, this time too he is the one who provided a protective suit.
This will be an important lesson regarding the continuation - once again, Biden provided his Don't, and brought military measures closer to ME region.
Those who underestimated the president's words, can breathe a sigh of relief this morning, and see what happens when friends come to your aid.
This will be an important lesson for the sequel as well. Although Israel intends to coordinate with the United States the response to the Iranian attack, it will have to take into account the warning from Washington: do not degenerate into a regional war.

Israel is surrounded by unfriendly countries. Luckily for Israel though the USA has been solidly behind Israel. The mass Iranian attack on Israel I think has helped strengthen Israel's support in the world and here in the USA. I support Israel myself. That is why this growing anti-Israel sentiment in the USA is of great concern to me. Israel needs to dump this horrible Netanyahu and get a new leader that will strengthen Israel's support in this country. A leader that doesn't want to starve to death tens of thousands of Palestinians just to keep himself in power.

Sad but probably true. The protests in Israel against Netanyahu continue. That does give me some hope though.

It appears to me that Netanyahu turned Israel into an American protectorate. I think it's a good thing.
There will be those who will say that it happened a long time ago, there will be those who will claim that there are positive sides to this, but the events of the last few months have made it clear to anyone who still had doubts: Israel may be a sovereign state (this too, minus its northern and southwestern borders), but it is no longer truly independent.

It appears a bit like in a building where the tenants have trouble getting along about the elevator payments, the landscaping and the garbage room - until they hire a management company, so is Israel now appears to be.
(and those whose historical vision extends far into the past, understand that there is a kind of "back to the future" here - this is not this time The first time in history that they dragged a foreign power to intervene in what was going on among them).

    Many secular Israelis say:
The problem is that this voluntary enslavement to a foreign interest (which also comes with a lot of money and weapons), as obscene as it is in principle, is excellent at the level of practice: if the alternative is that the national security, the economy, and the security decisions will be made by a government in which a large part None of its members served in the army at all (many of them are representatives of parties that encourage evasion of service and work), perhaps it is better that an American official manages us. Here, too, there will be those who will say "then yes now": when the alternative is religious fanatics, we are better off with a "fax-Romana", a Roman peace.

It certainly is for Israel. What the geopolitical benefit to the US is, especially in any way that benefits everyday Americans, is another matter.

Those who suggest the tail is wagging the dog do have a point, though.

Most American Jews outside the Orthodox communities have deep misgivings about the government of Israel and not just in the last year or two. All the political support comes from the evangelical Christian community. I wish I understood that. It's not like the Pat Robertsons of the world particularly like Jews. Years ago, a leader of the Southern Baptist convention actually SAID, "God does not hear the prayers of a Jew." Dr. Bailey Smith in 1980 uttered that caulumny.

My Evangelical friends support and love Israel, and Jews in general, they travel to Israel often and majority interpret the formation of Israel in 1948 as fulfillment of prophecies and the current events as pre end days prophecies that will culminate with Apocalyptic events followed by millennium etc.
I'm not that versed in this, and far from being an expert, but it is known that there are hundreds of Christian denominations in the U.S. and a staggering 50K globally, according to the Center for the Study of Global Christianity. At least half of Evangelicals love and support Israel, the significant majority of American Evangelicals believe that the Abrahamic Covenant is still in force. (The Land of Canaan and land of Israel, given to Israel by G-d)
I think they are also admonished to support the Jews if US Christians want to be blessed individually and collectively as a nation. Almost all Evangelicals regularly pray fervently for God to bless America. G-d has promised to bless those who bless the Jews and those who bless Israel. Enemies of Israel end up like Iraq, Syria etc. Friends of Israel are blessed. I can be wrong, but that's how I understand it.

Here is what my friend shared with me a year ago:
