The difference between this thread on this forum and the other forum is night and day. I shouldn't have expected the people on this forum to discuss this topic like adults. There is a reason why new members rarely stick around.

But, was it you who overrode another moderator's decision by reopening the thread?

 

Without going back and checking I'm pretty sure that there were three Moderators involved in the thread at some point, in some way. It was a thread that had been ongoing for quite some time and, to my knowledge, there had not been a single complaint about the content or the behavior of any of the participants. Also, without checking every single line, I'm unaware of any TOS violations. So I'm a little surprised at MC's reaction. Also, his worry about "this conflict" spilling into other threads is kind of funny to me too. I'm not really sure what he means by "this conflict." I didn't see anyone being out of control angry or getting into name-calling so then are we talking about some worry that there's going to be some sort of unbridled sex talk? Or that somehow Sanantone and Neuhaus are going to argue with each other every chance they get (like that doesn't already happen). So . . . yeah, I reopened the thread in order to make these comments partly because I think his reaction to close the thread was itself an override of the other Moderators already involved and also because I think that taking the action of closing the thread was unnecessary. And, as I said above, because I don't think it's really big deal either way I can close it up again.:yeah:
