I'm not looking to attend an online program because I want to receive a tuition waiver and a stipend for an assistantship. I'm also only looking at Texas universities.

If my streak of personal tragedies would finally end and allow me some time to concentrate, then I might be done soon with my BA. For real this time. FOR REAL, FOR REAL THIS TIME.

Afterwards, there are a number of certifications that I will be working towards in multiple fields, including certifications as an interpreter/translator in at least two more languages, some professional skill certs and at least one trade. Not all at once, mind you, I have an order in mind and if the first ones work out well for me (in other words, $$$$$$$$) then the rest of the list can be erased.

EDIT: I'll then spend the rest of my life in autodidactic programs at the University of Crania Mania. I will be polymajoring in Languages, Literature, Linguistics, Mathematics, History, Memory, Mental calculation, Physics, Astronomy, Meteorology, Psychology, Neuroscience, Geography and Latin Dance With Beautiful Young Women.

The last one is a greatly fulfilling hands-on experience .

I finished up the Six Sigma Green Belt course from Villanova a couple of weeks ago. Waiting on 1 May to start their Lean Six Sigma course.

After that, and I rotate back to the world, I'm going to have to decide on which Master's program I want to do.

Have you considered this - the SME Lean Bronze Certification? It is about $600 for the test and membership to SME. I will take it in about 2 weeks.

For anyone who is interested in a relatively cheap program related to international relations, there is University of Southern Mississippi's online PhD in International Development with various concentrations. Online students are charged in-state tuition.

I'm looking at Florida Tech, as my employer is willing to pay for it. I have no related experience or training in business principles so this will be new for me.

I begin studies in a couple of weeks within an intriguing distance "Culturally-based Native Health" 12-credit-hour graduate certificate program from Western Carolina University. I finished up my Master of Science in Administration (MSA) from Central Michigan University back in December and have been bored nearly to tears ever since. Hopefully going back to school, albeit in a less grandiose fashion, will be the much-needed concentrated academia for these veins. Ah the sad romance of a helpless addict... ;)

I have looked into it. I do not currently qualify due to lack of actual experience. I'm hoping that having documented learning on Six Sigma and Lean will allow me to change careers and begin building hands-on experience.

I will keep that certification in mind once I have the hands-on portion under wraps, though.

    Good luck on the exam!

I just had my final project/dissertation proposal accepted, so I am in the dissertation phase at Bakke. I am working on my Doctor of Transformational Leadership degree.
It is a perfect hybrid of business/theology/and community development.

I am finishing up the MS in Organizational Performance from Bellevue University...should be done this October/November. I've been looking at a few options for my next step: Master of Jurisprudence in Business & Corporate Law from Widener Law, PhD in Leadership Studies from Johnson University, or the PhD in Leadership from Tennessee Temple. No matter which way I go, I'll be taking a nice break first. I'm exhausted.

Currently working on the UND MBA - Accounting with an anticipated graduation date of 5/2014. After that who knows. Like pugbelly I will be taking a long needed rest from any longterm programs. That's not to say that single IT-related courses or certificates may not be pursued. Being in HIT now and not having a clinical background, there's a part of me that has an interest in acquiring this, so a local, in-person AAS - Nursing or MS - Informatics program may be considered at some point. After being in school for ~12 years now though, I'm leaning strongly towards calling it an academic career.
