Did anyone notice that Global University, which has long been accredited by the DETC, acheived regional accreditation through the NCA? That happened about as quietly as I ever recall seeing.

They will also take a degree from Nations to enter their Master program.

Do you know if they will allow you to transfer in grad credits from Nationsu into their Grad program ? Or are they only allowing the undergrad degree from Nations ?

Most schools will only allow a handfull of grad credits to transfer (6 or 9) regardless of where the originated.

Here is the info from their website: "How many graduate credits can I transfer into a Global University M.A. program?

"A maximum of 9 graduate credits with a minimum grade of 80 percent (3.0) or its equivalent may be transferred into a Global University master of arts program from other accredited institutions of higher learning, provided that the courses are compatible in content to the Global University degree plan chosen by the student. A maximum of 21 graduate credits may be transferred into a Global University master of divinity program. Transferred credit may not be substituted for Research Methodology or for the Thesis without prior approval of the Dean. No credit will be given for life experience in lieu of taking courses for credit."

I am just curious if they will accept grad credits from Nationsu, as they are currently not accredited.

Nations U and Global are very close. Call them and ask.

I'm really happy to see this school become regionally accredited. I took a course from Global about 2 years ago when they were DETC accredited and were also in RA candidacy. They seem to be run pretty well. I enjoyed the format of the course (very similar to Eugene Bible College...even down to the same texts). Plus, it's always good to see a school successfully make the jump from NA to RA.
