Thanks jaer. The ceremony and events really brought the "human" aspect of DL into a crytal clear reality. I give me a chance to bond with my fellow classmates and excellent Professors, the University President, Chairmen, etc.

And you know what? I will admit a secret. I always felt like the under educated one in the family. My brother and sister got right out of school and completed their degrees. My brother had his MBA at the age of 26. This always made me feel "inferior". So for many, many years, I dreamed of the chance to go up on stage and show my parents I could do what my brother had done. Aspen gave me that chance, and it worked out the way I had dreamed of for over 20 years! It is one of those things you have on your "life check off list". I know checked something off my list, and the feeling is great!!!!

Not to rain on your parade, but do you know if South African unis know (or even care) about RA/NA distinctions insofar as grad admissions?

You guessed it, I don't really care one way or the other.

Hi Abner - That's a huge accomplisment. There's a very small percentage of people in America who earn grad degrees and smaller still is the number who have the perseverence and determination to earm one while they'e working, with a family, etc. My hope is that your efforts pay off in all the ways we commonly measure success. I hope that your opportunities open up into a bigger, brighter world and that you can now take a firm grasp on your goals.

    The terrorists, of course.

Actually, "us" refers to the longtime members of DegreeInfo.
