How would this degree be viewed outside of Oregon?

I do not wish to speak out of turn but it struck me, upon reading the thread, that if laferney were to earn such a doctoral degree then he might discover that this issue (How should your patients refer to you?) to be moot as he would quite likely find himself catapulted into the role of administrator (where you typically have no patients at all).
