"The aftermath of Trump’s shooting—in which the former president, while bleeding after being shot in the face, got up and raised his fist in the air in front of the American flag—was “one of the most badass things I’ve ever seen in my life,” Zuckerberg told Bloomberg in an interview clip released Friday. “On some level as an American, it’s like hard to not get kind of emotional about that spirit and that fight,” Zuckerberg added, speculating that’s “why a lot of people like” Trump." I loathe Trump, but Zuckerberg isn't wrong. The optics of that moment were spectacular for Trump. That said, Zuckerberg also has to consider that a narcissist who owns a competing social media company and has disdain for the rule of law will likely be POTUS in six months. That can't be fun.
