A lie has to have the intent to deceive which, in this case, was not my intent. I made a mistake although it is still not regionally accredited. It also has not always been accredited and I would be interested in how all the unaccredited degrees issued from a school that has been around for 70 years be accepted on this site if during 60 of those years they were unaccredited. I still think they would be trashed because they were unaccredited.

A statement does not have to be a lie to be an untruth, just as information given in a lie might be truthful, if it is believed to be false.

The OED gives an example of untruths born of ignorance as one of its many fine examples.

If Joe Smith a technician who worked as an engineer for 20 years and got registered with EC UK as Incorporated Engineer via mature adult rout of IEE, were his life experience was assessed by chartered board of IEE.
IEng is entitled for Graduatinship of C&G Institute UK.
This is an equivalent to US BS degree.
So in this case fully accredited credential was awarded to a person based on his life experience.

    Is this fraud in USA?

This is a real story only the name is deferent.

From Military technician to fully accredited recognized credential.

    Life experience degree.

Who says you're lying? Another strawman. What I say is that your statements are unspecific and unsupported. While that doesn't make them lies (it makes them merely opinions or conjecture), it certainly makes them worthless or, worse, wrong.

Repeating something shown to be wrong is lying, of course. But you wouldn't do that.

There are philosophers who argue that there is no objective "truth" therefore no one can say anything that is false. Stephen Stich argues that truth has no cognitive value and we literally should not care if our beliefs are true or false. No one has a monopoly on "truth," not even OED.

    russ,

WOW! Is THAT how you justify spouting all that diploma mill nonsense?

Since I do not defend diploma mills your statement is nonsense.

Still not responding to even the most basic questions, I see.

But still, you have enough time to post more than 8 posts per day. Not only that, but you've actually started at least 7 threads in less than one month! I haven't started 7 threads in 3 years.

Who has two much time on his hands?

Is there some kind of speed limit on this board? What difference does it make how many posts I post or threads I start? It stimulates discussion as you can tell. Is there something wrong with that?

So, this is how it works, eh Brute? Once you have decided you don't want a particular person to post anymore, you and the other "veterans" start calling that person grade school names every time they post until they go away. I am sure that is why Dr. Bear and whoever else created this site (and are paying for it) just so you and your veteran friends could treat it like your own little fiefdom.

    What a bunch of losers.

    Hi Russ,

I don't like you quite as much as I did a little while ago. :)

    Take care,
    Bill

Another unresponsive response. Russ is now up to 8.54 posts per day, and he still hasn't backed up a thing.

And you're its most prolific poster of late. What, exactly does that make YOU?

By the way, John didn't have anything to do with establishing this ste, nor does he own it (or pay for it). Just another "fact" from you that is wrong.

  15. Easy russ; with calm.

    Rude, twice.

Incidentally, it appears that you are the one "losing" it, what with your burgeoning ad-hominems and all of a sudden resorting to insults (twice, as shown above).

Degreeinfo contributors and experts are not "losers." If they were, you would not have come here in the first place.

Degreeinfo is a valuable source of DL expertise and valuable information. That is why I, for one, will continue to send my B&M and accredited Howard Univ. and UMUC students here, for advice and also to observe.

Then again, Russ, maybe you have a habit of hanging around "losers," as in diploma mill shills and unaccredited outpost operators. If so, this is the wrong "loser" crowd for you.

My impression thus far is that Degreeinfo posters are "losers" if only in the sense that very quickly "lose" mill shills, like you. My kind of "losers!"

Do as I did. Read/study all or most Degreeinfo posts on accreditation for about one year - without you posting during that time slice.

You would then know why I say that most diploma mill shills who come to Degreeinfo to disrupt discussions and stall traffic flow, in turn, lose it after a while.

Some do return under different (and still anonymous) monikers. They are fairly easy to spot!

This post is/was not meant to be an insult to you. It is an invitation to you to start to learn from the experts and contributors, if indeed you want to learn, and cease the endless spouting of the mill shill drivel.

Asking rhetorical questions (to which you then post long, unsupported diatribes and ad-hominems) and continually spouting the KW"U" (umm, KWE) line, is nowhere close to learning.

    Thanks.

Jake did something brilliant with his initials "KWE" for Kennedy-Western. This should become SOP around here: instead of reiterating University when the name is a transparent piece of crapola, say Kennedy Western Entity, Masters Divinity Entity, St Regis Entity, etc.

My first comment was a quote from Shakespeare and it was not an insult.

Regarding the second comment, even though people are calling me names on almost every post (which you conveniently ignored), it was wrong of me to respond the way I did.

I do apologize for name-calling and calling people "losers." It was very unprofessional of me. I am sorry.

Nice job of bumping russ's threads to the top of the list, everyone. Instead, we should be pointing readers at the thread that clearly shows russ for what he is: A troll; and a shill for unaccredited institutions regardless of their observable credibility (or, more accurately, their lack thereof).

russ is here to mislead; to divert attention away from the real issues; to confuse degree-seekers who come here for useful information that will help keep them out of trouble. This forum has seen many like russ. Long after he's gone -- and he will eventually be -- there will be others.

Ignore russ. Let his threads fall to the bottom of the list. Direct the reader, instead, to this thread, where russ's colors may be seen in the cold light of day.
