I prefer the German free /low-cost education for all A woman has a right to chose, but abortion makes me sad. Single-sex marriage is fine with me. I support government old age pension base on employees contributions. I am against government support of corporate welfare
maybe there is no harm in hijacking this thread for a short joyride. How about a list of the most insane liberal college courses https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/new-report-exposes-most-insane-liberal-classes-taught-at-us-universities
I followed a different path than most people. I became more liberal as I got older. I used to only be for civil unions, but then I thought about how separate but equal is never really equal. And, why should I even care if two people of the same sex get married? Other things I learned from observation and reading factual articles. I had a conservative teacher in high school who I looked up to, and I found out that he was an idiot who was wrong most of the time. I'm not saying that conservatives are factually wrong; I'm saying that this particular man influenced me with bad information.
My preference is that government not be in the marriage business at all, but if it is then it should be open to any consenting adults.
I will even go further, that consenting adults should legally have the rights to get into sex- financial relationship. The laws against a legal sex industry have been most unhelpful to women.
Sure, both of these are specific cases, where the general case is that consenting adults should be able to do whatever they want.
