Why a mysterious ninth planet might be lurking beyond Pluto

    Pluto wasn’t satisfactory as the ninth planet even when Tombaugh discovered it. Not heavy enough. Sure there might be another gas giant out there but at this point wouldn’t we know about it?

    :eek: 8 catastrophic floods in 12 days estimated 10,000 dead just in Libya. Earthquakes etc.

    I knew someone will mention Nibiru, only it described as red.

    Rather than a cataclysmic crash, I'd settle for a little nudge. To the left, of course! ;)

    I've seen a few fringe theories that the 9th/10th planet beyond Pluto is either a brown dwarf or a miniature black hole. Brown dwarves are small for their mass and they're tricky to find in the first place. Black holes... there's literally nothing to see unless they get a visible event horizon. There are theoretical naked singularities that don't have that.
