What happens if your univ changes name?

    Short answer: They didn't stand for anything; was simply a quick transition when Touro Univ International sold the distance learning university (obviously there's legal issues involved in a name change), but students asked for it to mean something so they conducted a survey in 2010 on different names/crest/etc., another survey in late 2010 asking for feedback on a new crest or logo, and on January 24, 2011, TUI University unveiled a new name: Trident University International. Retains the "TUI" but it now has meaning, as well as a new logo and slogan: Aspire. Believe. Achieve.

    Actually, TUI is latin for "everyone's" or something like that. It is "Everyone's University"

    What happens since Ellis has lost accredition and was once part of NYIT, where do i request my transcripts from and will NYIT acknowledge all the classes I tool with Ellis?

    Have you ever attended Ellis College of NYIT? If not, then contact Ellis University as it is still operating under DETC accreditation.
